Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Fundraising: Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
  • Donor Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of philanthropy and engagement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, faculty, and staff to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities and build a pipeline of prospects.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to senior leadership on fundraising progress, trends, and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or non-profit management.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in Higher Education: Experience working in higher education, preferably in a development or fundraising role.
