Pineview Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kennel Assistant. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our boarding and hospitalized animals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise to boarding and hospitalized animals.
  • Monitor animals' general health signs and promptly notify technicians and veterinarians when medical attention is needed.
  • Interact with clients in person and via phone and email.
  • Accurately document records and complete boarding forms and cage cards.
  • Follow proper feeding and sanitation procedures and monitor boarding and hospitalized pets.
Requirements:
  • Confidence around animals and pets.
  • Knowledge of proper animal restraint techniques.
  • Understanding of infectious diseases and how to control and prevent their spread.
  • Ability to perform duties proficiently, including reasoning, remembering, mathematics, and language skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
