Position Overview

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Maritime Helicopters, Inc. is in search of skilled Senior Helicopter Maintenance Supervisors with extensive experience in rotorcraft upkeep. This position primarily involves maintenance operations in a controlled environment, with occasional field assignments during peak seasons.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Helicopter A&P Technician
  • Familiarity with Bell 206L, 407, and 412 models is advantageous
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously with limited oversight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
  • Prior experience in supervising and guiding a team of technicians is preferred
  • Relevant Technical/Trade School Certifications are beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly report to the Maintenance Director
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Director, Chief Inspector, and Operations team to establish and prioritize daily and weekly tasks
  • Guide, develop skills, foster trust, and encourage teamwork within the maintenance team; assess team performance
  • Offer technical support to technicians assigned to specific aircraft
  • Exhibit technical proficiency on designated aircraft and provide on-the-job training to fellow maintenance personnel as required
  • Conduct routine inspections of work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform regular toolbox evaluations and engage in or lead daily safety discussions
