Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Sheridan at Bethel Park. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vital Sign Management: Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, to monitor residents' health and well-being.
  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, to promote independence and dignity.
  • Medication Reminders and Support: Provide reminders and assistance with medication administration, as needed, to ensure residents receive their prescribed medications.
  • Transfer and Positioning: Safely transfer and position residents to prevent falls and promote comfort.
  • Skin Care and Hygiene: Provide skin care and hygiene services, including bathing and dressing, to maintain residents' skin health and prevent pressure ulcers.
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Contribute to the assessment and care planning process to ensure residents receive individualized care and support.
  • Nursing Rehabilitation and Restorative Care: Provide nursing rehabilitation and restorative care services to promote residents' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Follow the schedule of residents' needs, as set out by the supervisor, to ensure timely and effective care delivery.
  • Emotional and Social Support: Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Resident Rights and Confidentiality: Respect and promote residents' rights, including confidentiality, to ensure their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Compassion and empathy for residents
