Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at the Marlin Bar. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our dishroom and kitchen equipment, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized, and that the dishroom is free of clutter and hazards.
  • Participate in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Foster a culture of cleanliness and sanitation, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the business, including general housekeeping and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of high-volume culinary/hospitality experience.
  • Current food handler's card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law.
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant skills, including food/equipment/kitchenware/tableware storage and rotation, proper cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking of plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently, and to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for duration of shift.

Working Conditions

  • Scheduled shifts determined by business needs.
  • Routine standing for duration of shift.
  • Maneuvering of hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys, and other tools listed in training manual.
