Job SummarySeminole Electric is seeking a cooperative student to join our team in a paid internship opportunity. As a cooperative student, you will work on long-term compliance projects addressing Environmental, Safety, and Training requirements for our plant.
Key Responsibilities- Develop compliance workflows and processes
- Review and create programs for Environmental waste compliance
- Draft corporate procedures and technical documents
- Participate in meetings with SMEs and management to identify and address potential areas of non-compliance
- Assist with training and evaluation of procedural documentation
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental, science, or similar degree
- Process knowledge is a plus
- Co-op students are expected to be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours per semester, maintain a 2.75 GPA, and work approximately 20 hours a week
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and have a valid driver's license
Working ConditionsNormal office working conditions with some travel and work outside of normal business hours
