Job Summary

Seminole Electric is seeking a cooperative student to join our team in a paid internship opportunity. As a cooperative student, you will work on long-term compliance projects addressing Environmental, Safety, and Training requirements for our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop compliance workflows and processes
  • Review and create programs for Environmental waste compliance
  • Draft corporate procedures and technical documents
  • Participate in meetings with SMEs and management to identify and address potential areas of non-compliance
  • Assist with training and evaluation of procedural documentation
Requirements
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental, science, or similar degree
  • Process knowledge is a plus
  • Co-op students are expected to be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours per semester, maintain a 2.75 GPA, and work approximately 20 hours a week
Physical Requirements

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and have a valid driver's license

Working Conditions

Normal office working conditions with some travel and work outside of normal business hours
