Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Current licensure/registration in applicable State, with a valid RN license in good standing.
  • Two (2) years' nursing experience, with geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • CPR certification upon hire or during orientation, with ongoing certification required.

Essential Functions

  • Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care and services, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist patients daily to evaluate quality of patient care rendered, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Direct licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing patient care needs/reporting requirements, ensuring effective care delivery.
  • Assess patients' needs and develop plans of care, working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance, and concentrate on tasks, using reasoning skills and good judgment.
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team, promoting collaboration and respect.
  • Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours, ensuring physical stamina and adaptability.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language, with effective communication skills required.
