About the Role

Apotheco Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and respond to their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Label and prepare products for patients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process prescriptions using computer software, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies, reporting any discrepancies or concerns to management.
  • Coordinate patient deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Keep the pharmacy clean and organized, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Complete insurance verification and apply manufacturers' coupons as applicable.
  • Bill and charge credit cards, maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Keep patient information up to date, ensuring accurate and secure storage of sensitive data.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate (or equivalent) required; previous experience in pharmacy or related healthcare fields preferred.
  • Excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well-spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and management.
