Job Summary:

Sprinkler Installation Technicians are responsible for installing fire sprinkler systems and associated equipment in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. The Fire Sprinkler Installation Technician will contribute to the safety and protection of people and property by ensuring the proper functioning of fire suppression systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install various types of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, according to applicable codes, regulations, and engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout and placement of sprinkler heads, valves, and piping systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and connect pipes using various tools and equipment, ensuring accurate fit and alignment.
  • Install valves, risers, and other components of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with a team of technicians to coordinate installation projects, share knowledge, and ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience is required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the FLS industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including different types, components, and installation methods.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Estimated Salary: $27-$43 per hour
