- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative menu concepts that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with our nutrition team to ensure menu planning meets the nutritional needs of our residents.
- Monitor inventory, manage supplies, and optimize kitchen operations to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Participate in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to ensure exceptional quality and presentation.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of culinary excellence, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior living or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our residents.
Compensation:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
