Position Overview

Job Role: Educational Support Specialist

Employment Type: Contract, Part-Time
Compensation: $22 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and record student development as directed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education Instructor.
  • Create a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere for students, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Assist in preparing students for academic challenges and promote social interactions during group activities and breaks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Preferred experience working with students with special needs in an educational environment.
  • Willingness to support students with personal care requirements, including feeding and toileting.
