About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Best Buy. As a key member of our retail store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting all areas of the store, including sales, operations, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Leadership: Manage store leadership duties to ensure employees are efficiently deployed and remove barriers to deliver great customer experiences.
  • Employee Experience: Manage employee experiences, development, and performance to drive a culture of flexibility and skill development.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance indicators against business strategies and lead efforts to maximize or course-correct results across all spaces.
  • Resource Deployment: Monitor results to identify opportunities in the store and drive the customer and employee experience in all business areas, deploying resources in-store and in customers' homes.
  • Culture Development: Partner with the General Manager to drive a culture of flexibility and training associates in all departments.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year of leadership experience in business, military, or related fields.
  • Sales and Customer Service: 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Operational Experience: 1 year of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue.
  • Industry Experience: Consumer electronics industry experience.
  • Sales Goals: Prior experience setting retail sales goals.
