Financial Analyst III

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst III to join our team at Logix Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing financial analysis and assistance with projects, including product and branch profitability, budget variance analysis, and asset liability management (ALM) modeling and reporting.

• Prepare financial reports, including ALCO, ALM, and ad-hoc reports, to support executive and board-level decision-making.
• Identify and analyze trends using statistical analysis and mathematical modeling to inform business decisions.
• Perform ad-hoc profit/loss analyses at the loan/deposit product level and organizational level to optimize financial performance.
• Manage the monthly Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models, including asset liability, forecasting, budget, and planning, to support business strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving and profit-generating opportunities.
• Provide financial implications of financial policies, governmental legislation, and accounting theory to support business decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis and planning, with a strong background in ALM and risk management.
• Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting theory, principles, and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to visualize complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.

• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline, such as MBA or CFA.
• Experience with big data mining and its use for bank balance sheet modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills, including SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Index & Match formulas, and VBA macros.
