Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and possession of an Arkansas State License to practice.
POSITION SUMMARY: This role involves utilizing therapeutic skills and training methodologies to assist clients effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts thorough reviews of clients' social, psychological, medical histories, and prior therapy documentation.
- Engages with clients and caregivers to identify and assess needs.
- Administers relevant assessments to evaluate functional capabilities and potential.
- Completes all necessary evaluations, documentation, and billing in accordance with established timelines.
- Collaborates with team members to share insights for treatment plan formulation.
- Recommends additional therapy or equipment as needed.
- Creates individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and team contributions.
- Facilitates individual and group therapy sessions aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.
- Communicates any changes in programs to ensure consistency across disciplines.
- Adjusts treatment strategies and equipment as required based on client progress.
- Employs effective methods to manage challenging behaviors.
- Provides guidance to clients and families regarding treatment strategies and home exercises.
- Maintains effective communication with colleagues through various channels.
- Ensures therapy orders remain current throughout the treatment duration.
- Delivers training sessions to staff on treatment techniques and materials.
- Supervises students in practicum as requested.
- Participates in ongoing education and training programs.
- Engages in professional development through relevant courses and conferences.
- Stays updated with current literature and practices in the field.
- Utilizes modern technology to enhance client services.
- Provides therapy in diverse settings including clinics and clients' homes.
- Manages a caseload sufficient to meet operational requirements.
- Ensures compliance with documentation standards as mandated by law and licensing bodies.
- This position is classified as safety-sensitive.
Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all information related to clients and the organization, adhering to established privacy policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
