Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Marketing Category Specialist to spearhead the development of our product categories. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in category management, marketing, and sales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy: Develop comprehensive category plans that align with our business objectives and market trends.
  • Product Management: Oversee the procurement, merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities for assigned categories.
  • Vendor Relationships: Foster strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of products and services that meet our quality standards.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry developments and competitor activity.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure category success and inform future strategy adjustments.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in category management, marketing, or sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sufficient proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum
