Wine Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Wine Director to join our team at BE.STEAK.A, a Michelin Recognized restaurant with a great chef, staff, and team. As a Wine Director, you will be responsible for running the wine program, including purchasing, inventory, organizing, selling, wine service, and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and managing wine inventory
  • Developing and implementing wine service standards
  • Training staff on wine knowledge and service
  • Managing wine sales and revenue
  • Collaborating with the chef and kitchen team to create wine pairings

Requirements:

  • Passion for wine and wine education
  • Strong knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in wine service and management
