Blue Origin: Shaping the Future of Spaceflight

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Verification Specialist to join our team of passionate and accomplished avionics engineers. As part of this role, you will directly impact the future of space flight and contribute to our mission of building the road to space through reusable rockets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and verify avionics software components on Blue Origin rocket engines
  • Contribute to the team's impact on all aspects of re-usable, safety-critical component development and delivery
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams and participate deeply in different aspects of software development lifecycle

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree or higher in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, aerospace, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience of testing real-time embedded systems
  • Experience with Linux Internals, Python, C, C++, git, JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies, and DO-178C or equivalent
  • Proficient with Rust
  • Ability to learn fast, multitask, and drive tasks to completion
  • Ability to present technical concepts to peers and leadership
