We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at Ochsner Health System. This role will involve operating diagnostic fluoroscopy and various types of cardiac equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and performing routine calculations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic sciences and experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment. A Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences and registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) are preferred.

Responsibilities will include preparing procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for procedures, acting as a liaison to the hospital Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), and documenting procedures in a procedure log to ensure accurate billing and charge capture.

The successful candidate will be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and will have proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences

  • 2 years of experience as an allied health professional
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
