Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian credentialed by the American Dietetic Association
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as per state regulations
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver registered dietitian services across various locations in compliance with policies and regulations
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the nutritional care of residents in alignment with current standards
  • Assess and monitor residents' nutritional status, providing recommendations to the clinical team
  • Develop and revise nutritional care plans as necessary
  • Ensure proper meal service and adherence to dietary modifications
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on nutritional principles and dietary adjustments
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compliance with dietary requirements based on medical conditions
  • Review menu modifications for adherence to facility policies and regulations
  • Update diet orders and menu changes as required
  • Conduct regular audits of nutritional care practices
  • Perform nutritional assessments during admissions, readmissions, and as needed
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately as per facility guidelines
  • Inspect food service areas for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with assigned duties
  • Monitor residents for changes in weight, nutritional support needs, and skin integrity, making recommendations as needed
  • Participate in inspections to ensure adherence to dietary policies and regulations
