Philosophy Instructor

Join Lake Michigan College as a Philosophy Instructor and contribute to the academic success of our students. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

We are seeking a qualified Philosophy Instructor to teach courses in Philosophy. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree or higher in Philosophy and a strong commitment to teaching and learning.

• Instruct students in assigned classes utilizing instructional technology.
• Provide academic guidance and counseling to students in cooperation with Student Services Personnel.
• Maintain academic standards.
• Prepare course syllabus and outline.
• Monitor student progress.
• Keep adequate and accurate records.
• Enter final course grades online.

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree or higher in Philosophy. You should also have a strong commitment to teaching and learning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Lake Michigan College offers a competitive salary range of $50.00 - $55.00 per contact hour. We also offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
