About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Intellibus. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions using Azure services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement ETL processes using Azure tools and services.
  • Manage data assets using Microsoft Azure cloud data platform.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Design efficient data models and schemas within Azure for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Integrate Azure with external systems and data sources.
  • Monitor and optimize queries to improve performance and resource utilization.
  • Resolve performance issues and optimize data warehouse configurations.
  • Implement security measures such as data masking, encryption, and tokenization.
  • Develop workflows to manage data pipelines using tools like Airflow.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with ETL processes for data integration.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
  • Proficient in Python, especially with Azure SDKs, JSON handling, and dictionary operations.
  • Competent in Unix for file operations, searches, and regular expressions.
  • Deep expertise in Azure services including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Blob Storage, and Logic Apps.
  • Solid understanding of database design principles, including logical and physical data models, and change data capture mechanisms.
  • Experience in integrating and leveraging PowerBI for business intelligence and reporting needs.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows and setting up automated pipelines.
