Experience & Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program is essential.
Must hold a current Practical Nurse license in the state of employment.
Possession of an active multi-state compact license is highly preferred.
Current CPR certification is required.
Staying informed about state-specific laws and regulations related to nursing practice is necessary.
Flexibility to adapt to various nursing roles as required is mandatory.
Willingness to work different shifts and rotations is essential.
Successful completion of initial and ongoing clinical competencies is expected.
A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are prerequisites for this position.

Responsibilities
As a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse with YesCare, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the assessment of patients' health statuses.
- Participating in the formulation and adjustment of patient care plans.
- Executing delegated tasks and functions within the scope of practice.
- Responding to medical emergencies and performing continuous CPR until relieved.
- Administering and documenting medications accurately.
- Providing direct basic care to multiple clients in a structured healthcare environment.
- Ensuring safe and effective nursing care while taking responsibility for the care provided.
- Implementing educational programs for patients and correctional officers based on established plans.
- Utilizing a problem-solving approach for decision-making.
- Coordinating offsite and onsite scheduling collaboratively.
- Monitoring the consult process in relation to policy and contracts.
- Engaging in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety initiatives.
- Participating in Patient Care Committee Meetings.
- Coordinating CARES as necessary.
- Performing venipuncture and IV therapy as per scope of practice.
- Scheduling offsite appointments and providing necessary coordination.
- Collaborating with the Regional Medical Director, site medical providers, and nursing leaders.
- Adhering to standard precautions and utilizing personal protective equipment as required.
- Carrying out additional nursing duties as assigned.
