About the Role:

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician at Plastipak Holdings, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective preventative maintenance plans, which will help to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HDPE extrusion manufacturing equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Develop and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures to optimize equipment performance.
  • Participate in changeovers and ensure efficient and correct execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of maintenance experience, with a strong preference for extrusion experience.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is highly desirable.
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is a plus.
