Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier/Pets Associate at BGB Pet Supply. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with various tasks to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and sweeping/mopping floors.
  • Assist with various tasks, such as processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and answering phone calls.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Learn and follow all company procedures, including incident reports, inventory management, and customer service protocols.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic animal knowledge and understanding of pet care products.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
