Job Description

A Medical Nurse Chaperone plays a unique role in ensuring the health and safety of students during regular school settings. The responsibilities include:

  • Administering first aid, medication, or emergency medical care to students as needed during the school day.
  • Maintaining accurate records of any health incidents, treatments provided, and medications administered during the day.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current License for the State of Florida.
  • A current CPR Card.
  • Proof of negative TB (PPD, titer or X-ray).
  • Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the area of practice.
