In this role, you will assist clients in both English and Spanish with inquiries related to housing programs, resources, and services. You will help guide clients through the application process, offer support in understanding available housing options, and provide critical information to ensure clients make informed decisions about their housing needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) customer service and support to clients, answering inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communication.
  2. Assist clients in understanding and accessing available housing programs, including affordable housing options, rental assistance, and homeownership resources.
  3. Help clients complete applications for housing programs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
  4. Offer guidance on eligibility requirements for housing assistance and explain program details to clients clearly.
  5. Maintain client records, ensuring all personal and program information is kept confidential and up to date.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients receive comprehensive support and services.
  7. Provide education on budgeting, financial literacy, and other resources to support housing stability.
  8. Stay informed about local housing policies, programs, and available community resources to better serve clients.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, banking, housing assistance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex housing programs to diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing programs, rental assistance, and government housing services is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with customer service software.
Compensation

$22 per hour
