Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Diverse Lynx. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries, sterilizing equipment and instruments, and stocking adequate supplies for surgery. You will also provide support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies, and track surgical supplies. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures, and work well with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the general surgical team to provide great patient care.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries
• Sterilize equipment and instruments
• Stock adequate supplies for surgery
• Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites
• Provide support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies
• Track surgical supplies
• Stay up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures
• Work well with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the general surgical team

Requirements:
• Surgical technologist certification from NBSTSA
• Experience with instrumentation
• Current BCLS
• Strong understanding of surgical technology and surgical procedure
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
