Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Operations Associate to join our team at United Rentals. As an Equipment Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch by providing labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff, and other branch personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of rental equipment to ensure it is in good working order and meets safety standards.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain rental equipment, as well as maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Load and Unload Equipment: Load and unload rental equipment from delivery trucks and prepare equipment for rental.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by checking out and demonstrating equipment to customers, as well as driving a delivery truck to pick up and drop off equipment.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the efficient operation of the branch.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication, multi-tasking, and strong teamwork skills required.
  • Safety: Diligent attention to safety and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Customer Service: Superior customer service skills required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs. required.
