Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Clinical Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing first-line supervision to nursing and other professional staff providing direct patient care in our home health and hospice programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the delivery of clinical services in our home health and hospice programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve staff development, quality, and delivery of patient care.
  • Act as a clinical practice expert/resource to staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in program management, including licensing, budgeting, utilization, and quality assessment/improvement systems.
  • Ensure patients receive quality care by reviewing documentation, consulting with staff, and reviewing patient satisfaction reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the home health, hospice, or palliative care delivery setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or four (4) years of experience in a directly related healthcare field.
  • Registered Nurse License (California) and demonstrated knowledge of The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year of nursing supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible Home Health, Hospice, or Palliative Care nursing experience.
