Key Responsibilities:

  • Food and Beverage Distribution: Coordinate and order food from caterers for volunteers in cooperation with the study team, distribute food and beverages to study participants according to study protocol and internal requirements.
  • Supervision and Support: Supervise volunteers during mealtimes, assisting them with catering requirements as needed, ensure that the meals are correct (ingredients and macro-nutrients) and distributed as per protocol time.
  • Catering Area Maintenance: Store food and beverages according to individual storage requirements, perform quality controls on expiry dates of stored food and drinks, clean and maintain kitchen and equipment, maintain stock levels.
  • Unit Support: Set up and oversee food orders, perform other tasks as required by the manager and the needs of the EPCU.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in restaurant or canteen work or equivalent.
  • Language Skills: Basic English knowledge.
  • Computer Skills: Computer skills (Windows Office).
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work under pressure and multitask in times with a higher workload, ability to work in shifts (early, late), ability to work on weekends and holidays.

Education:

  • Secondary School Qualification: A secondary school qualification.
