Position Summary
As a Safety and Security Specialist, you will report directly to the Security Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a secure atmosphere for all guests and staff by actively engaging in visible patrols and providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and fellow team members.
2. Offer assistance and directions to customers as needed.
3. Oversee security during cash handling operations, ensuring unauthorized individuals are kept at a distance.
4. Maintain vigilance during cash drop procedures.
5. Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external guests.
6. Monitor entrances to prevent entry of individuals under the legal age.
7. Collaborate with law enforcement and provide testimony when required.
8. Conduct regular patrols to identify safety risks and security breaches.
9. Document and investigate incidents in line with company policies.
10. Manage lost and found items with detailed records.
11. Uphold all company policies and procedures.
12. Respond to unauthorized individuals in restricted areas.
13. Assist with dispatch operations and manage communication effectively.
14. Work alongside local law enforcement to maintain order.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to work any day and shift.
- A polished and professional appearance is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in security or law enforcement, or a combination of relevant education and experience in customer service or hospitality.
Licensing Requirements
- Ability to obtain necessary licensing as mandated by regulatory authorities.
