Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a School-Based Speech Therapist, you will work in a dynamic educational environment, providing essential speech and language services to students with diverse communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and implement individualized education plans, setting realistic goals and objectives to enhance students' communication skills.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Administer direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques to promote effective communication.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with school personnel, parents, and other professionals to share knowledge, resources, and best practices, ensuring a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, therapy sessions, and treatment outcomes, providing valuable insights for future planning and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and possess current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience and Skills: Prior experience in a school-based setting is advantageous, but not mandatory. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
