About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at our skilled nursing community in Silver Spring, MD. As a key member of our care team, you will provide direct resident care, including nursing/clinical care, personal, nutritional, and restorative care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist a designated group of residents in direct support of the Sunrise Mission
  • Partner with licensed nursing staff to plan, develop, and execute individualized restorative therapy programs
  • Maintain Restorative Records for each resident
  • Assist in maintaining adaptive equipment and other medical equipment
Requirements
  • Valid license as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • High School Degree/GED required
  • Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and possess excellent communication and documentation skills
