Garver is in search of a Control Systems Engineer to join our Water Design Center team. This role is pivotal in the development of PLC and HMI programming for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement PLC programming logic and SCADA HMI graphic interfaces for automation systems in water and wastewater treatment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, instrumentation, and process engineers, to align project specifications.
- Engage in the design of automation control systems, including P&ID diagrams and network configurations.
- Execute PLC and SCADA HMI applications during system commissioning at project sites.
- Liaise with contractors and facility operators throughout the construction and commissioning phases.

The Fayetteville Water Design Center is recognized for its expertise in technical, multi-disciplinary designs for water and wastewater systems. Our focus on large-scale, custom treatment plant projects allows for continuous communication and collaboration among team members, enhancing project delivery and design quality.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent technical education in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Proficiency in developing and supporting PLC and HMI applications, with familiarity in platforms such as Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 and Schneider Electric Unity Pro being advantageous.
- Strong technical skills in controls, instrumentation, and process control systems.
- Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
- Background in field service work, including project commissioning and technical support.
- Comprehensive understanding of water and wastewater treatment systems.
