Job Title: Per Diem Nurse - Intermediate Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Nurse to join our team at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Intermediate Care unit.

Job Summary:

This Per Diem nursing position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing care to patients with various medical needs. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in patient education, including teaching patients and their families about disease management, medication use, and other health-related topics.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current State Nursing License
  • Minimum 1-year acute care experience in a hospital setting
  • Appropriate certifications for the specific position
