American Medical Staffing (AMS) is a leading provider of healthcare professionals, and we are currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to fill a contract position in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. This role will involve providing high-quality care to clients at BLUE RIDGE REGIONAL HOSPITAL, INC., utilizing your expertise and skills as a certified speech therapist.

About the Job

This opportunity is a 13-week school-based contract position, commencing on April 7th and concluding on July 7th. The successful candidate will work with children and adolescents, developing tailored treatment plans to address communication and language disorders. As a speech-language pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, creating individualized therapy plans, and implementing interventions to improve their communication skills.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA. Previous experience working with children and adolescents is essential, as is proficiency in creating and implementing treatment plans. A strong understanding of communication disorders and effective therapeutic techniques is also necessary for success in this role.
