Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. as a Maintenance Specialist. This role will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the electrical subsystems within our production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Work with internal and external resources to resolve electrical issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and user manuals to ensure accurate and safe operation of equipment.
  • Train others on technical content, particularly as it relates to electrical subsystems.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
  • Assist management and engineering on projects as required.
Requirements
  • One year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Three years of strong industrial electrical background in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food processing plant.
  • Experience in mechanical systems, welding, and pneumatics is highly desirable.
