We are currently seeking a skilled Travel Electrophysiology Technician to join our team. This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing critical support in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in Electrophysiology Procedures:
    Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies and assist during catheter placements and device implantations while monitoring vital signs and ECG signals.
  • Equipment Management:
    Set up and operate advanced electrophysiology lab equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance to guarantee optimal functionality.
  • Patient Safety and Care:
    Educate patients and their families about procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols to minimize risks and complications.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and equipment settings, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaboration:
    Work alongside cardiologists and healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care and participate in continuous education and team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiology Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Electrophysiology (RCES), Invasive Cardiovascular Technology (RCIS), or American Registered Radiology Technology (ARRT).
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in an EP lab or cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Proficient in operating medical equipment and software, with strong patient care and communication skills.

Working Conditions:
This position may require standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks, including patient and equipment movement. Adherence to safety protocols is essential due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and radiation.


Schedule:
Flexible scheduling options are available, with the possibility of 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.


System Experience:
Familiarity with Siemens Icono X-ray, Ensite X, Carto, and Rhythmia mapping systems is preferred.

Residing within the USA is required for eligibility.
