Amarillo College is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Music Instructor to join our team. As a Supplemental Music Educator, you will have the opportunity to teach applied instrumental and vocal private lessons and/or other music courses to students of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum for music courses.
- Teach private lessons and group classes in instrumental and vocal music.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement music programs.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of music curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Master's degree in Music or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience in music education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Competitive hourly rate of $48.00.
