About the Job

We are seeking a talented Crop Advisor to join our team at J.R. Simplot Company. As a key member of our agricultural sales team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to growers and promoting our brand as the best-in-class Agricultural distributor.

Job Summary:

This position involves selling crop nutrition, crop protection, seed, specialty, technology and other agronomic products and consultative services to growers. You will be responsible for growing new business and managing a customer base within a defined area to meet and exceed area sales and profitability goals and gross margin targets.

  • A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university is preferred.
  • Established book-of-business is highly desired.
  • 1-3 years of similar experience in the industry is required.
  • Required computer skills include knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
