**Job Summary**

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant/Material Handler to join our team at our Pasadena donation site. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our donation center.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the donation trailer/pod and surrounding areas.
  • Assist donors in the receipt of donated items and provide excellent customer service.
  • Sort and separate donated materials into designated containers and stack them properly.
  • Assist with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
  • Inform supervisors of needed items prior to running out.
  • Secure and lock the donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift.
  • Be flexible with scheduling and adapt to changing priorities.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and donors.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Physical ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance.
