Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineering Project Leader with extensive experience in municipal and commercial infrastructure design and project oversight. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various project types, including but not limited to water and wastewater systems, SCADA and telemetry solutions, and lighting for streets and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct project scoping, scheduling, and cost estimation
  • Execute short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination analyses
  • Create one-line diagrams, layout drawings, cable schedules, interconnection schematics, and other technical documentation
  • Engage with contractors, clients, and facility operators
  • Interpret control system, construction, and installation blueprints
  • Draft equipment and construction specifications
  • Provide on-site evaluations, electrical assessments, and construction support
  • Mentor and guide junior engineering staff
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines within the firm
  • Lead business development initiatives and prepare proposals for engineering services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is advantageous
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of post-licensure experience
  • Expertise in design, construction management, startup, and commissioning processes
  • Familiarity with electrical power system modeling tools such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower is preferred
  • Solid understanding of electrical construction methodologies
  • Ability to source technical information from diverse resources to implement effective designs
  • Proficient in conveying technical information to clients
  • Strong emphasis on quality, thoroughness, attention to detail, and accuracy in documentation
  • Capability to review and verify one's own work and that of team members
