Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

Decypher is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to cardiovascular care, including conducting diagnostic tests, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting with medical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms and stress tests, to help diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties, by explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering medications as needed.
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties, by operating equipment, monitoring patient vital signs, and providing support to the medical team.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, nurses, and radiologists, to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cardiovascular laboratory or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:

The Cardiovascular Technologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to patients with cardiovascular conditions. The technologist will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and work in a sterile environment.
