Frosting Technician

We're seeking a skilled Frosting Technician to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes As a key member of our bakery crew, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality cakes that delight our guests through precise frosting techniques and attention to detail.

• Follow proprietary frosting recipes and application methods to ensure consistent results.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes efficiently.
• Prioritize cake pre-orders based on schedule and prepare walk-in guest orders promptly.
• Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain par levels.
• Comply with packaging, labeling, and storage standards for frosted cakes, as well as product rotation guidelines.
• Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure they meet Nothing Bundt Cakes' quality standards and report any quality control issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring frosting supplies are prepared for the next shift, and wash equipment when necessary.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene standards.

• Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
• Basic understanding of units of measurement used in the U.S.
• Capacity to perform repetitive tasks requiring precise movement of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Physical ability to lift moderate to heavyweight items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• Meticulous attention to detail, adhering to timing and production schedules.
• Able to evaluate products, processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
• Discipline and attention to detail to adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
