At Sun Harbor Manor, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various nursing procedures.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants, ensuring that residents receive the highest level of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
- Current, unencumbered LPN license in New York State.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing setting, preferably in long-term care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws and regulations governing long-term care facilities.
