Responsibilities:
  • Active RN License in New Jersey
  • 2+ years of nursing experience (preferably in endocrinology, internal medicine, or a similar specialty)
  • Experience in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormone-related issues
  • Familiarity with medication administration and monitoring in an endocrine setting
  • Knowledge of diabetes education and patient self-management practices is highly preferred
Requirements:
  • Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills, particularly in relation to chronic disease management
  • Ability to educate and counsel patients on self-care, medication adherence, and lifestyle changes related to endocrinology
  • Collaborative skills to work with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, dietitians, etc.)
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families
  • Ability to handle complex medical cases and make critical decisions in patient care
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple patients and follow up on treatment plans
