Job Summary:
The Physician Affiliate Group of New York is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, training and supervising medical trainees, and participating in peer review and quality assurance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care to adults in a community hospital setting
- Supervise and train medical trainees, students, and mid-level providers in adult ambulatory services
- Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and faculty development sessions
Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Maintenance of affiliations with academic and professional organizations
Benefits:
- Annual Base Salary: $205,000* (board eligible); $210,000* (board certified)
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $55,520
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits)
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement
- Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days
