CDL A Local Dry Van Driver Job Description

CEVA Logistics is seeking a skilled CDL A Local Dry Van Driver to join our team in Eagan, MN. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering tractor trailer loads within a 150-200 mile radius from Eagan, MN. Your duties will include securing, loading, and unloading cargo, as well as verifying the accuracy of the loads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tractor trailer loads within a 150-200 mile radius from Eagan, MN
  • Secure, load, and unload cargo
  • Verify the accuracy of the loads
  • Comply with State and Federal DOT regulations and Transportation Security Administration requirements

Benefits and Perks:

  • Competitive weekly pay: $27.00 per hour (overtime paid at time and a half)
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly
  • Outstanding benefits starting 1st day of the following month after your date of hire if enrolled within 45 days

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have valid Class A CDL with a minimum 6 months of verifiable experience
  • Hazmat certification
  • Clean motor vehicle record (MVR): no more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years, no more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years, no DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Hiring radius: drivers must live within 45 miles of Eagan, MN or be willing to relocate for this position
