Job Overview

The Automotive Technician plays a crucial role in our operations, reporting directly to the Store and Service Managers. This position is essential for executing both fundamental and complex vehicle maintenance and repair duties, assessing automobiles for potential issues, and diagnosing problems to ensure optimal vehicle performance while prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing extensive automotive repair expertise
  • Delivering exceptional service quality to clients
  • Conducting skilled mechanical tasks while diagnosing and analyzing vehicle issues
  • Inspecting, replacing, and/or repairing faulty components while performing preventative maintenance on vehicles
  • Engaging in continuous learning of new technical information and methods to keep pace with evolving automotive technology
  • Exhibiting behaviors that align with the company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, management, and suppliers
  • Complying with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy, and organized workspace

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive service, mechanics, and/or engine diagnostics in a professional setting
  • ASE Certification is preferred but not mandatory
  • Possession of necessary Technician Tools
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Capability to operate and drive various vehicles
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service abilities with a commitment to building long-term relationships with clients
  • Willingness to work on Saturdays

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of standing, bending, and stooping
  • Occasional exertion of force to move objects, which may exceed 10 lbs
  • Requires maintaining a production rate pace that involves constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
