Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to join our team at a Long-Term Mental Health facility in Alpine, CA.

This is a per diem opportunity that offers flexibility and a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide licensed nursing care and related technical work for mentally ill individuals, ensuring the safety of the milieu.
  • Monitor, assess, and intervene in crisis situations as needed.
  • Document daily care, report changes to physicians, and assist with licensed nursing-related duties assigned.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and healthy environment and follow required procedures for handling, cleaning, or moving of objects/materials.
  • Ensure compliance with department protocols, policies, guidelines, and facility standards and communicate regularly with other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • BLS/CPR Card.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
